The Petroleum Technology Research Centre is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer for the organization, Mr. Ken From, effective January 20, 2014. 

Ken is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, and spent more than 20 years at SaskEnergy and its predecessors in various roles, culminating as Senior V.P. Gas Supply and Business Development. From SaskEnergy he moved on to co-found and lead Prairie Hunter Energy Corporation, a Saskatchewan-based junior oil exploration company, as President and CEO. Most recently he served as CEO of the Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan (TSASK), leading the organization through its creation as a unique stand-alone agency. He is also a past president of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS), and a past board member of Engineers Canada. Ken brings extensive senior management experience to his new role, along with a passion to find ways to bring value to the industry and the province through innovative approaches.

The PTRC Board and staff welcome Ken into his new role as CEO, and look forward to continued research innovation and excellence with his support.
