The PTRC was pleased to guide two Canadian Senators from the Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources on a tour of the Aquistore research site on October 7, 2016.  Senators Dennis Patterson and Percy Mockler visited SaskPower's Boundary Dam Carbon Capture Facility, and then travelled the two kilometres to the Aquistore injection wells to learn about the extensive measurement and monitoring program being carried out at the site. 
The senators were joined by local member of the provincial legislative assembly Lori Carr.

Aquistore continues to draw interest from around the globe, with additional visitors from the Europen Union in September and  MINES  ParisTech (Ecole des Mines de Paris).
