The Petroleum Technology Research Centre and the Illinois State Geological Survey today confirmed at the Greenhouse Gas Technologies Conference in Lausanne, Switzerland, that a collaborative agreement had been signed between the two groups to share research work and collaborate, going forward, on CO2 deep saline storage. Each organization have been managing research into deep saline CO2 geological stroage projects that are seen by many as the most important such projects in the world.
